Privacy

What we collect when you join, share a story, post on the forum, or submit a Pinbook, and how we use it.

You can browse Digital Pin Club without giving us anything. We only collect what you type into one of the forms below. It is saved in our own database, and we do not sell it.

Join the Club

The Join form saves your name, email, and anything optional you fill in: Discord username, favorite Disney IP, favorite pin set or drop, collector level, city or region, notes, and whether you want club emails. When you join we send one welcome email. We only send club emails and promotions if you left that box ticked, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We may also keep a copy of the member list in a private club spreadsheet.

Members' area cookie

Joining, or signing in with the emailed sign-in link, sets one signed cookie (dpc_club_member) so the site remembers you are a member. It lasts 90 days, renews while you use the site, and holds your member ID, not your email. Sign-in links are single-use, expire after 20 minutes, and are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.

Collector Stories

The story form saves your Pinnacle handle, email, and what you write: collecting since, favorite pull, biggest chase, why you stay, stats, Pinbook link, and your story. Every story is reviewed first. If we publish it, your handle, story, and those details appear on the site, with a Trade button built from your handle, and may also be shared in Pin Press and on our social media accounts. Your email is never shown; we only use it to follow up. You can also add one photo with a short caption. The photo is optional, must be your own or one you have the right to share, and shouldn't show other people's faces without their permission or any personal information. It is stored privately with our host, Vercel, and is only shown, with your story, if the story is approved. Submitting a story means you agree to the Story submission terms. You must be 18 or older to submit one.

Pinbook submissions

Submitting a Pinbook for the Community gallery saves your handle, the Pinbook link, and your note. Once approved, all three show in the members' gallery.

Club Forum

Club Forum posts, replies, thumbs-ups, photos and avatars are saved with your member ID and shown publicly with your handle. To have a post removed, ask us through the Contact page.

Creator suggestions

Suggesting a creator on Watch & Follow saves the name or handle, platforms, video link, and your permission tick. A copy is emailed to us so we can review it.

Pin Press

Signing up for Pin Press on the home page saves your email and adds it to our mailing list with our email provider, Resend, so we can send the Pin Press digest.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. One click turns off club emails and Pin Press for that address: we mark you as opted out in our database and in Resend, and take you off the Pin Press list. Signing up for Pin Press again later turns it back on.

Visit counts

We count page visits ourselves: the page, the referring site, your country, and your device type (phone, tablet, or computer). A random first-party cookie (dpc_vid) separates new visits from return visits. We also measure how long a tab stays in use, with a short check every few seconds, only while the tab is visible and the page was used in the last minute. That check reuses the same visitor cookie and does not add another one. A heart on a game is counted once per Pacific day. Signed-in hearts are stored with your member ID. Guest hearts reuse that same hashed visitor cookie. We don't store IP addresses, names, or emails in these counts, and we use them only to see how the site is doing.

What we don't do

No third-party analytics or advertising trackers run on this site, and we do not sell or rent your information. Emails are sent through Resend. Pinbook images on the site load from disneypinnacle.com, and links to other sites (Disney Pinnacle, Discord, creators' channels, pinsider.io) follow those sites' own privacy policies.

Removing your information

To see, change, or delete what you have sent us, message us through any channel on the Contact page and we will take care of it. If you ask, we take a published story off this site and our own accounts (see the Story submission terms).
